Grassroots music venues are essential.
They are the foundation of the £4.1billion UK music industry employing hundreds of thousands of people. You simply don't get Adeles, Stormzys, Coldplays or Ed Sheerans without grassroot venues. You also don't train thousands of sound and light technicians, promoters, agents, managers or other staff critical to the music industry.
Music Venue Trust (MVT) is a UK registered charity which acts to protect, secure and improve the future of grassroots music venues in the UK. In response to the Covid 19 crisis, the MVT #saveourvenues campaign raised over £2 million which will help hundreds of venues stay open. But MVT is not just a response to Covid 19; this work has been going on since 2015.

To save venues, MVT relies on donations, sponsorship and financial support from fundraising initiatives such as
Fightback Lager.
With the support of over 950 grassroots venues,
Fightback is the brand of choice for grass roots live music. Fightback drinkers are cultural heroes. By buying a
Fightback they are directly supporting the music venues they love.
Fightback enjoys the patronage of the many recording artists and organisations that support MVT. Don't take our word for it... check out what Fatboy Slim had to say about
Fightback Lager.
