Grape info: Few grapes can match Pinot Noir’s almost mythical ability to communicate terroir. Although its sensitivity makes it challenging to grow, it is the very thing that makes it capable of almost unrivalled nuance. For many, the best Pinot Noirs represent a summit of what is achievable in wine.
About: The selected vines are grown in the western part of the French department of Aude deep in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. A small percentage of the wine is aged using French oak, to empower the wine with more complex aromas and silky tannins.
Tasting note: Aromas of cherry, blackberry and raspberry on the nose. A concentrated and fruity palate with hints of clove and spice, light tannins and a fresh finish.
